Neal E. Miller and Anthony D. Hopp founded EOS in 1995 with the primary purpose of creating a private, nationwide computer network for bankers -a place where bankers could acquire and exchange banking related information. Success came quickly and soon EOS operated the largest private network for bankers in the country. As the Web developed, EOS assisted in a transition for its bank association clients to a Web-based network.
During the fall of 1995 EOS rolled out its internet service, Springnet1. EOS further expanded its offerings to include IT consulting, eOnline Storage and data and voice services.
In 2005 EOS launched Central Illinois’ first Business Continuity Center. This venture comes with a dedication to provide continuity services for companies to use during business interruptions or disasters. As a 24×7 facility, its success is predicated upon managing to optimal levels of system performance, availability, capacity and reliability. EOS is committed to ensuring a business’ survival.
